I mean surely it would be more sensible to just not bother with the drinks break given it'll almost certainly only take a few balls maximum until the match is finished anyway. Maybe if there's less than say 20 runs to win, or 8/9 wickets down the drinks break should just be scrapped.

While I see your point, it is likely too much coding hassle to put this in when it is a minor inconvenience in the current state
