Version 89

Post by FTP-ashario » Fri Nov 28, 2008 10:28 pm

Estimated Deployment Date: Saturday 29th November

Included in this version

New Feature: Squad listed in match orders
For those who dislike having 2 browser windows open when setting orders (one displaying the orders page, one displaying the squad page), 4 tabs have been added at the bottom of the match orders page: Batsman, Bowlers, Allrounders and Keepers.
Your top 15 batsman, 15 bowlers, 10 allrounders and 5 keepers are now displayed on these tabs so managers can view/sort their squads while setting orders.

New Feature: Player Skills Summary
A player skills summary section has been added to the player details page. This section gives you an overall indication of the ability of each player as a batsman, bowler, allrounder or a keeper. This change is primarily targetted at assisting new managers who are trying to determine what role each player is best suited to.

Zimbabwe and Bangladesh
Member soft caps, ticket prices and weekly sponsorship are being updated so they are equal to the other 8 countries.

Eligible leagues for new teams
Division 3 is already unavailable for new teams in most countries. It will be unavailable for new teams in all countries.

This means that new teams will be allocated to division 4 leagues or below. It also means that managers moving to a new country will also be allocated to division 4 leagues or below.

Weekly Sponsorship
There will be a modest increase in weekly sponsorship revenue for Season 5

Match Engine: Green pitches
The number of runs conceded by seam bowlers on green pitches will be reduced slightly.

Speed of pitch changes
Pitches will change condition slightly faster in season 5. Your groundsman will be approximately 10% more efficient at changing the pitch condition from one type to the next.

Pavilion Cup: Seedings
Only the top 25% of teams will be seeded (ie the top 256 teams). This means that in round 1, seed 1 will not necessarily be drawn against seed 1024, seed 2 against seed 1023 etc. 'Seeds' 257 - 1024 will be distributed randomly.

Training: Keepers
The Keeper and Keeper-Batsman training programs will now also include a small amount of fielding training.
