Final tour match vs the USA

Pakistan won the toss and elected to bowl first.

Aegon Targaryen started off really expensive, but he recovered well and the rest of our bowlers applied the pressure, getting them to collapse from 76-1 to 115 all out.

USA started well with the ball, with us losing 2 quick wickets in just 3 overs.
Shah Saeed and AR Shaheer Akhtar starred with the bat in a 76 run 4th wicket partnership, which got us through in the end with 5 wickets in hand.

Player of the Day goes to the youngster Sarfraz Waqas, who got a maiden 5 wicket haul, ending up with figures of 5.5-2-8-5

5th and final match of the tour vs USA

We won the toss and elected to bowl first.

They had a steady start and at the end of 23rd over they had posted 76 for just 1 wicket. Then the magical Sarfraz Waqas came and took three wickets in an over and push them back. After that they had a bad experience as just one batsman goes to the double figure.
In the end they were restricted to 115 and credit goes to Sarfraz Waqas who took carrier best figures of 5.5-2-8-5.

While chasing it looks simple but they grab their chances and put us under pressure by taking 3 quick wickets but after that partnership of 78 between Shah Saeed and Shaheer Akhtar put us in a comfortable position which helped us to get home with 5 wickets in hand.

A friendly T20 organized on 15th Feb against Australia on Green pitch with overcast conditions

Australia won the toss and elected to bowl.

Pakistan started badly as they were curtailed to 6 for 66 in 11.1 overs after that had a steady partnership of 68 and put 134 on the board.

The score doesn't look good but Pakistan started well in bowling and pick 3 quick wickets for just 27 in 4.3 overs. Pakistan was unable to pick the wickets on regular intervals as the 6th ranked team in T20 used his experience and defeated Pakistan by 5 wickets.

Aamer Munaf is pick of the day with his 39 runs inning.

First match of the T20 tour vs Zimbabwe

We won the toss and elected to bat first

Openers provided a decent start on a Crumbling pitch, getting us to 38 runs before the first wicket fell. After this we lost 3 wickets for just 8 runs, before captain Eggleton guided the team to 124/6, with him scoring an unbeaten 38 from just 25 balls, which looked to be a good total in these conditions.

Our bowlers performed well, picking up regular wickets and not allowing their batsmen to settle down. Pick of the bowlers as well as Player of the Day is Tasleem Agha for his figures of 4-0-15-4

Match Ratings
Zimbabwe Pakistan
Batting - Top Order 15,193 15,769
Batting - Middle Order 13,309 13,626

Bowling - Spin 14,649 (12) 14,741 (12)
Fielding/Keeping 17,543 18,168

2nd match of the tour

Won the toss again but this time we elected to bowl first.

Canada opener Davion Gunn made a flying start, as our bowlers Hasnain Ismail and Muslim Rauf were taken apart, conceding 39 and 43 runs respectively. Bowlers did well to control the damage done, as Canada finished the innings on 159-5, with Shaheer Akhtar the pick of the bowlers and the Player of the Day with figures of 4-0-15-2

Batsmen never really got going in the chase, with Canada's bowlers picking up regular wickets and not allowing the batsmen to settle. Only 4 batsmen managed to get into double figures, with captain Peter Eggleton the top scorer with 36 runs. We ended the chase on 111-9, losing the match by 48 runs.

Credit to Canada for a deserved win, as our performance was not good enough.
