In our last two T20 friendlies we had games against Ireland and India and took away a 19 run win and a 12 run win.

Our T20 tour kicks off tomorrow against Ireland at 2:00 FTP time, we've been dealt Sticky, Uneven and Slow as the pitch preferences.

G. McKay (rfs) 2-0-14-0, S. Warrington 7 (7b), O. Nethersole 15 (19b)
End of over 11 (7 runs) - Bermuda U19(76-2) RR 6.91

Not a bad start to our first game, Kennedy batted well for his quick fire 42 off 28. Would be great if one of these two could go off in the second half and take us to 160+.

Game 2 goes down as a win! On a pitch heavily favouring the seamers we were sent in and scrambled to 136 on the back of 40 off 32 balls by Smith who was the only bat to really get going. The bowlers defended extremely well with our big 3 of Nagamootoo, Bicknell and Pearce combining for all 7 of their wickets while also being tidy with their economies.

Bangladesh U19 Bermuda U19
Batting - Top Order 8,185 7,770
Batting - Middle Order 7,017 6,325
Batting - Tail 4,042 4,309
Bowling - Seam 7,229 (16) 7,004 (16)
Bowling - Spin 6,605 (4) 8,634 (4)
Fielding/Keeping 6,207 8,091
Overall 127,079 130,234

Game 3 we play the West Indies and we are back to the sticky pitches.

Another win today leaves us 2-1 to start the week. With a 18 run victory against the West Indies, a group effort with the bat left us to defend 145 on a Sticky pitch, Kennedy top scoring with 39. Our bowlers done the job holding them to only 127, Nethersole being the best of our bowlers with 3/17 off his 4 overs, Bicknell and Westmaas also deserve credit with economies under 5.

Finished off the tour with another win, meaning we finish top of the table in the T20's . 4-1 for the week after losing our first match, main part being us promoting out of Div 3 which will be key to qualifying for future T20 WC's.

The Scots batted first on a slow deck making 148, we done well considering how we only managed the 2 wickets so things defiantly could've been alot worse but the two finger spinners done a great job restricting the runs. With the bat our pinch hitting all rounder Reid scored a match winning 62 to set the chase up, Nethersole doing the damage at the end with 40(28) to secure the win with 8 balls to spare.

Bermuda U19 Scotland U19
Batting - Top Order 7,662 7,304
Batting - Middle Order 7,681 6,397
Batting - Tail 4,848 3,809
Bowling - Seam 6,862 (8) 6,670 (12)
Bowling - Spin 7,999 (12) 7,432 (8)
Fielding/Keeping 7,767 7,274
Overall 136,941 122,931

Great tour again, massive hand goes to Cyrus. Going well boys :thumbsup

Game 1 didn't go as well as planned as we went down by 5 runs. Their last wicket putting on 76 which in the end decided the match so not a hell of a lot that can be done about the result as almost everything went well.

Bermuda U19 Sri Lanka U19
Batting - Top Order 8,359 8,279
Batting - Middle Order 7,856 6,939
Batting - Tail 4,586 4,470
Bowling - Seam 7,551 (20) 7,601 (30)
Bowling - Spin 8,627 (30) 8,060 (20)
Fielding/Keeping 8,070 8,011
Overall 143,810 137,246

Today we have Bangladesh as we look to bounce back, on a crumbler!

B. Josephs (rws) 6-1-9-0, I. Banerjee 39 (87b), M. Hossein 2 (9b)

Been a little busy so haven’t been able to give updates! We’ve won our last 3 games and are set for a massive game against Zimbabwe which will determine if we can double up and promote to Div 1!

So Bermuda are going to Div 1 next season! Another win last night by 40 runs after a brilliant partnership between Decosta and Kennedy! Which then led to a great defence of our score with Nagamootoo taking 4 fa. Sadly the last tour for these boys but finishing 12-3 for the season is a top effort, credit to all the players managers and also Cyrus and Bombers for a great season.

Thanks guys for voting me in, hopefully we can have an enjoyable and successful 2 seasons. Currently playing around with the squad to see what we can do to get the best out of these boys and make sure all bases are covered. I am on the lookout for another assistant so feel free to send me a message if anyone is interested!

Thanks once again, I’ll be posting here regularly so I’m sure you’ll hear from me again soon!
