Locked in promotion with a win against Zimbabwe. A shoot out with India now to see who tops the league.

Great tour to have after losing almost every friendly game the whole of last season.
Only regret on this tour is that we couldn’t give enough game time to a few very good players ...especially spinners, given the pitch draw. Thankfully we had locked in promotion, so went ahead with three spinners in cloudy, hard conditions against India in the last game

Started off with a loss. Didn’t put up a good enough score and though the bowlers made it close towards the end, the score wasn’t enough to defend.

Another loss ...would help if our batsmen get out of test match mode soon ...we’ve just not put up enough runs on the board in the first two games.

Nice to have a win under the belt.
Squad is not bad. We are light on spinners but that hasn’t hurt us so far ...the batting just hasn’t put up good enough totals and there is no obvious weakness there. Even power levels for most batsmen are quite good by youth standards.
Just one of those frustrating weeks lol

One more loss and it is a “must win and cross your fingers for NRR” day. Lost the fifth toss in a row too!

Tied the last game after putting up a decent score for the first time ...which means we go back to D3 ...disappointing week

Chased that down comfortably in the end to get to 2 wins in 2 games.
Third one is on ...good start to the bowling innings but a threatening partnership has built up for the fourth wicket now.
