Cricket Discussion - WC and Beyond

A place to discuss cricket, whether it be the golden duck you scored in 4th grade last weekend, or a discussion about international matches.

Fingers crossed by July they can play again. Just in time for launch of The Hundred :whistle

The ECB are going to be even more desperate for it to succeed now. Stakes are big.

Still it's just a game. Stay safe everyone. No :hug until it's all blown over.

For a little oasis of sanity, I just watched highlights of the 1993 NatWest final between Warwickshire and Sussex on Youtube.
The best one day game I've seen live.
The commentary team was wonderful as well, though Ray Illingworth didn't seem to know what to make of a couple of reverse sweeps.
First time the 3rd umpire was used in a Lords' final.

Any recommendations for other games to (re)watch?

Was that the match where Allan Donald scored like 50 with the bat ?? :think

I have always wanted to have watch that match, only caught a glimpse of it back in the day when Donald was dismissed, and I was still like - Was that Donald? What?

No. Donald wasn't in the side. Gladstone Small and Tim Munton opened the bowling for The Bears.

Nope, not that match. Allan Donald never scored a list A half century...

It is frowned upon to make valid points about someone in a position on power that show them off in a negative light.
