Season 42 - It all begins again

Post by MD-Summit » Wed Sep 04, 2019 6:26 am

And were back into Week 0 again!

Congrats to Paulc who managed to win both the OD and T20 div 1 titles!

Managed to get promoted to Div2 For OD...

Choked my YOD badly and had sub par performances in T20 leaves me in Div 3 for both of them :(

One Day 2.1 looks to be a fight between 5 teams to get promoted, happy with a mid table finish 8)

don't know how well i'll do this season considering i was forced to sell my best batsman and bowler due to financial troubles..... losing jakins especially hurts given he's a special talent and there's currently no one in the pipeline that can replace him....

EDIT: well i kinda do have a special talent in carmody but he's only 17 and a batsman

thanks for the congratulations Summit - now that we all have membership I did a quick check and it turns out that SOD 1.1 rated lower than all other 1.1 leagues except Bangladesh and was actually lower than 2.1 and one place above 2.2 in Sri Lanka, so i guess I got a bit lucky.
The T20 league was the second hardest league of all though.

I don't like anyone I'm stuck with in my leagues. 3 relegations coming up.

Oh man, going to take a hit with YOD this year. Threw the kitchen sink at last seasons championship thinking it may have been the last season, and have also taken a renewed interest in senior academy investment.

Lesvo should win this season by a street as there is daylight to the next best manager in Maps in terms of ratings points. Having said that the scouser needs all the RP advantage he can get to make up for his lack of managerial prowess.

Noticed prathu is spending up huge on 16yos over the last couple of seasons so watch out for the resurgence of the Teddy Bears, who will be conquering all in seasons to come.
