South African Residents Cup - Youths

Post by egan » Fri Nov 08, 2019 3:56 pm

Would there be interest in doing a version of this for youths?

Always do this for seniors but thought we could give an opportunity to shine for the more youth focused setups in the community. Seems to be some really strong youth teams at the moment so could be a perfect time to give this a crack.

Secondly, what would be a good day to run this? We’ve got the seniors on Monday so that’s out. Was thinking Saturday to keep the friendly spots open for non-members but not fussed on what day we have it as long as most people are available.

Anyway, let us know.

I'd be interested in this with Drop Bears. Not very strong yet as rebuilding but definitely interested

Have set it up guys. Don’t have a lot of time before the competition starts to lets get those invitations accepted quickly.

There is 14 South African teams in the top 100 of the world rankings. Hopefully we can get all of them involved and it ends up being a very strong competition
