3rd match of the tour

We won the toss and elected to bat first.

Batsmen made a strong start, with Ajmal Shakir leading the way from 42 off 29 balls, and Shah Saeed scoring 52 from 41 balls.
However, we couldn't accelerate in the end, and only managed 153-4, credit to USA bowlers on some good death bowling.

USA batsmen also made a good start, with Targaryen's first over going for 13 runs, but he bounced back in his next over, taking 2 wickets.
Junaid Maqsood shone with the ball, his Old Ball bowler talent coming to the rescue as he claimed 4 wickets, finishing with figures of 4-0-28-4, and he is also the Player of the Day.

Game 4 of the tour

Won the toss for the 4th straight match, and again chose to bat first.

Both openers got dismissed early, before captain Eggleton and Amjad Sabri managed a 95 run partnership to help get the team to a decent total.
Peter Eggleton remained unbeaten on 84 from 65 balls, and the team finished with 144-4.

Kenya's openers provided them a strong start, our bowlers did manage to make some inroads but it was too late by then, as they were able to get a comfortable 5 wicket win.

Player of the Day goes to Peter Eggleton for guiding the team to a decent total with the bat after our openers were dismissed early on.

First tour match of ODI Division 2 vs Ireland

Ireland won the toss and elected to bat first.

Our bowlers started off really well, reducing Ireland to 40-4 before their middle order got a good 106 run partnership going, and their lower order chipped in with some runs also but then our bowlers came back strongly to get them all out for 239, with Hasnain Ismail and Muslim Rauf the pick of the bowlers with 2 and 4 wickets respectively as well as both having an economy rate of under 4 RPO.

In reply, our openers gave us a solid start, and all the batsmen chipped in with useful contributions, the highlights being Saeed Amjad unbeaten on 68 from 84 balls, and Shaheer Akhtar smashing a quick unbeaten 29 from 12 balls to take us home to a 6 wicket win.

Player of the Day goes to Muslim Rauf for his figures of 9.1-0-34-4 in unfriendly conditions for a spinner.

2nd match vs Bangladesh

We won the toss and elected to bat first.

Once again our openers made a quick start, we did have an early wicket fall, but overall the batsmen put in another good performance, with the highlights being Masood Gulzar, who scored his maiden ODI half-century as well as his best ODI score of 70, and Saeed Amjad, who scored his maiden ODI century and personal best score of 150. Both these batsmen put on a 4th wicket stand of 131 to guide the team to a good total. Bangladesh bowlers bowled well in the last 2 overs to keep us to 334/9.

In reply, their openers gave them a great start with a 82 run partnership in just 11 overs. Our bowlers then pulled the game our way with some crucial wickets, and then their lower order gave them some hope with a 85 run partnership for the 6th wicket. Our seamers then cleaned up the tail to dismiss them for 246, giving us an 88 run win. Pick of the bowlers was debutant Junaid Jamshed with figures of 8-0-33-4.

Player of the Day is Saeed Amjad for his 150 which helped us post a good target.

3rd match of the tour vs Zimbabwe

We won the toss and elected to bowl first.

A good bowling performance restricted them to 139 all out, with Targaryen and Agha picking up 3 wickets each.

In reply, we lost early wickets, but Amjad Sabri and Imranullah Adnan starred in a 68 run partnership for the 5th wicket.
Amjad Sabri top scored with 47 not out, and we managed to get a good 5 wicket win which keeps us in 1st place.

It was a tough decision for Player of the Day, but we will have 2 winners: Tasleem Agha for his bowling figures of 7.2-0-22-3, and Imranullah Adnan for his all round performance, bowling figures of 8-2-17-1 and scoring an unbeaten 22 from 58 balls and giving support to Sabri in the match winning partnership.

Final match of the tour vs West Indies

Won the toss and elected to bowl again.

We made an error in our line-up selection, and had the same XI playing today that played yesterday.

West Indies batsmen managed to get some starts, but our bowlers were able to keep them from converting those starts into big scores, and got them all out for 162, which is a very good total on a Crumbling pitch. Pick of the bowlers was Sarfraz Waqas with figures of 9.4-1-28-3

In reply, their bowlers started off really well, as they had us at 58-5 at one stage. But then Shaheer Akhtar and William Shakespeare managed to pull out a match winning partnership of 82 runs for the 6th wicket, with Akhtar scoring 41 and Shakespeare getting a 50. Both were dismissed but we just managed to get over the line with a narrow 2 wicket win.
