Forgot to pick my team this week so it's actually going to be stronger than I was expecting to make it.

H. Flaherty (rws) 4-1-22-5, S. Hodges 53 (29b), C. Moses 0 (1b)
End of over 20 (6 runs) - Ruff Royals(207-8) RR 10.35

It was looking even more comfortable until 4 wickets in an over for Flaherty. Some excellent batting for McCall (78 from 47 balls), Whitehead (58 from 32 balls), and Hodges 53 not out from (29 balls) saw us to a great total on dry.

S. Hodges (rfs) 1-0-3-0, W. Maynard 15 (13b), T. Shelley 19 (14b)
End of over 6 (3 runs) - Captain Speccy's Muppets(40-1). 168 runs required from 14 overs. RR 6.67 RRR 12.00

We're well in control here and can even afford to drop a catch.

Batting - Tail 4,600 3,685

Overall 219,092 165,402

Nimeämätön XI won by 7 wickets

Being relegated already, I largely picked a team for experience purposes whilst being ultra cautious on making sure all of the players I want to play on Thursday are on rested.

I didn't think our batsmen were going to do quite as badly as they did on a hard pitch but oh well. The bowlers had no chance.

Good luck all

been a somewhat frustrating time in the OD league recently, last four matches have been an easy win against the league's whipping boys, sandwiched between two losses by 3 runs and one loss by one wicket   on the plus side we won't get relegated anyway, and who cares about a little prize money :P ... but on the even more of a plus note, we got promotion from div 3 of T20 ... after last season's disaster final day it's pleasing to make amends this time around and do it with a game to spare.

a super tight game, but unlike the OD games, this one we managed to grab the win, winning by 7 wickets with just one ball to spare!

Crucial game today in my relegation battle.

Leyland Lions put us in to bat which is ok by me as I was going to bat first anyway.

B. Mageto (lfs) 4-0-28-0, I. Santos 54 (49b), S. Hodges 34 (47b)
End of over 16 (6 runs) - Ruff Royals(95-0) RR 5.94

So far I don't think it could have gone any better. There's still lots of work to do though and I'd be happy if we could get to 220+ on this dry pitch.

Lost Santos in the last over before the break for a good 58 from 56 balls. Can we double this score in the next 20 overs?

Hodges out now so I need these two to get us to 200+.

Will take that at the halfway point of our innings, our opponents playing five seam bowlers is certainly helping us.

B. Mageto (lfs) 7-1-41-2, E. McCall 24 (31b), A. Clarke 0 (0b)
End of over 30 (9 runs) - Ruff Royals(166-4) RR 5.53

There's a bit of a collapse going on for us at the moment which we need to stop. I'd say we need at least another 60 runs. These two are pretty good batters but after that there's not much to come although I suppose Trevino is okay too.

We're over the 200 but now we need to be aiming for 240+ to put us in a good position to get a much needed win.
