lol

20.6WDonovan to Whitney : Ouch! A great inswinging yorker crashes into Whitney's back foot. They all go up in a huge appeal and finally the umpire's finger goes up. Interestingly, not only does the replay show that was going well down leg side, it also shows Whitney had limped nearly a whole leg bye before the finger went up. Insult to injury...R. Whitney lbw b. F. Donovan 0 (1b 0x4 0x6) SR:0.00

20.5WDonovan to Ward : [catch] Ward goes for the drive and ends up hitting it in the air towards point. He didn't get his foot to the pitch of the ball but went through with the shot. Fadil swoops forward and takes it inches from the ground.J. Ward c B. Fadil b. F. Donovan 32 (58b 2x4 1x6) SR:55.17

oops :D

massive massive win today in unfavorable conditions, absolutely huge. 79 run partnership at the end got us over the line after a middle order collapse, absolutely buzzing at the win really didn't expect it!

1st vs 2nd next week - another blockbuster game, but delighted with the performance and win today, got a bit lucky with a couple of dropped catches, and I feel sorry for opponents who are fighting relegation which is mad in Div 2 with such a strong team, but hey time to celebrate :clap :clap

Not a great start. We need a 100+ run partnership from these two.
Yikes it tight at the bottom. I'm getting too old for the kind of season i've had...

Grange XI Ruff Royals
Batting - Top Order 14,392 14,786

Bowling - Spin 0 (0) 12,512 (10)
Fielding/Keeping 15,897 16,784
Overall 223,864 236,337

Ruff Royals won by 3 wickets

It wasn't easy but we got there. 3-40 for McCutchin and 2-23 for Diaz were crucial and Burgess took some handy wickets at the end (4-39). Credit must go to Bass who generally struggles but got a vital 35. No doubt the star of the show was Solomon though with an unbeaten 95 as an opening bat; it was a shame he didn't get a ton really as he deserved it.

Sadly, I'm still bottom.

If you win next week you're virtually guaranteed to survive but if not it gets really interesting!
